As an On-Call Volunteer, you’ll be a vital part of our team, ready to step in and help wherever support is needed most. Tasks may vary, from event setup to administrative help, depending on current needs. This flexible role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and wants to contribute their time on an as-needed basis. We’ll reach out when opportunities arise, and you can jump in when your schedule allows.

We are looking for someone to photograph our Madrona community and events so we can share them on our website, social media, and to promote them for future years. This could be great for a young person in the neighborhood who is interested in photography.
The Music in the Playfield Prep Team works under the direction of the Music in the Playfield Coordinator to support all aspects of planning and preparation leading up to the event.
We are looking for volunteers to consistently clean up litter in Madrona. This is a great position for someone who is an avid walker and doesn’t mind picking up litter on one of their walks. Litter is especially prevalent in and around the parks. We live in a beautiful place and want to keep it that way!
Hours: 30 minutes per week minimum; skipping some weeks for vacation is absolutely fine.
The Blossoms Team volunteers under the supervision of the Blossoms Lead and provides support in several areas, including contractor relations, fundraising efforts, installation and removal of planters, and monthly maintenance.
Hours: March, April, and May: 10 hours per month. For the remainder of the year: as needed.
Creates and organizes new community events that bring our community together. Develops fresh ideas, plans logistics, and works with volunteers and local partners to bring engaging events to life.
The Music in the Playfield Lead serves as the central organizer and point of contact for the event. Finds bands to be voted on by the MIP team, submits permits & insurance, books professional artists & food trucks.
Hours: 4 hours on event days. 20-40 hours in preparation.
