8/25: NAACP Health & Education Fun Run to benefit Madrona K-8

Join us for a day of fitness, education and fun!  The NAACP’s first annual Health & Education Fair & Fun Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, August 25, at 10:00 am at Judkins Park. The event’s purpose is to raise money for three under-funded schools in the community and to promote education and health among communities of color.
Madrona K-8 School is one of the schools that will be benefiting from this event.
Organizers are looking for participants to sign up for the race, organizations (school and/or health-related) to host booths, sponsors for the event, and for volunteers to help on the day of the race. For more information and to sign up, go to: http://healthandeducationfunrun.wordpress.com/.
